SHUAA Asset Management provides some of the best options for investors looking to access regional stock markets. We currently sponsor and manage a number of investment funds targeting the MENA region, including equity and debt capital markets as well as regional structured portfolios, providing both conventional and Shariah-compliant investment solutions.

Longest Regional Track Record

We hold the longest track record for managing a regional MENA equity fund with the Arab Gateway Fund, which was established in 1999.

Since then, our fund management strengths include:

  • A skilled management team with regional backgrounds and substantial experience earned through full regional market cycles

  • In-house research utilising a well-defined bottom-up, detailed and fundamentally driven process that is consistently adapting and improving through a decade of investment experience in the region.

  • Unparalleled access to information and company management teams resulting in over 100 one-on-one management or company meetings annually

  • Access to a vast broker network of more than 50 brokers in the region and the most competitive, quality execution for our clients

Flagship Fund

Our flagship fund is the Arab Gateway Fund (AGF). It is a Pan MENA, open-ended, investment vehicle offering investors access to over 15 stock markets through a single fund, investing in long-only listed equities. Utilising a blend of top down macro country and sector allocation, as well as bottom up fundamental stock picking, the AGF aims to outperform the S&P Pan Arab Composite Index.

Our other SHUAA Asset Management fund is the award winning Emirates Gateway Fund (EGF).
